So I don't know if any of you have been on just Livejournal.com today (Nov. 1) and seen how frickin awesome it looks!
(It's all halloweenified.)
I vote it should look like this all year long. ^_^
So Halloween is awesome. I wish I had pictures to post of last nights festivities, but they are all on my friend’s camera. Matt was a wicked awesome vampire and I was a gothic pin up. ^_^
We all watched Monster House, which is the funniest movie in the world to watch when you have a "Rocky Horror Picture Show" commentary to go with it. (Not to mention having WAAAAYYY too much candy in your system.)
But getting back to my pessimistic self... I am officially bummed about the next Final Fantasy. It looks ridiculously dumb. But of course, that's what happens when they tell the guy who directed X-2* to write it!
*a spin off of Final Fantasy 10, where the main character was a warrior/pop star and battled with a frickin microphone. -_- the game was bad.
I fell in love with Final Fantasy, and I think many others did too, because of CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!!!! I fell in love with Cloud, Squall, and Riona... because there was more to them, and it was almost like you were in a movie with them. But it seems like all that passion has taken a side move to the Kingdom Hearts Trilogy and has removed itself from the new games. It's all become about graphics and politics. (WHICH IS WHY FFX11 sucked, and I couldn't even finish it)

I didn't think Cloud could get anymore hormonal but apparently, I was wrong.
I’m sorry, I don’t care how pretty you make something look, if it has no substance it’s going to fail. So ‘Lightning’ can look as pretty as he/she wants, but if there’s nothing to the character that is going to outweigh magical tattoo man and the killer DJ, this game is headed straight for the crapper.

You know what though, I think that is an excellent punishment, although I don't think he should have been allowed to get out of it so easily. Think of how often people blare music in their cars, or in public and force everyone else to listen. It's not considerate, and it bothers everyone around them.
I just would have loved to watch him listening to it.

So I have 3 more shifts left at this job.

Which is... mind boggling.
It's weird that I've been here 3 years... and it's all over in 2 shifts.
It's really disgusting how disposable you aer at a part time job, especially when you give your all to do your best.
But it's okay, I'm on to better things.
So one thing that I hate to report, but I've gotta say my peace on this whole Miley Cyrus thing. People Magazine is reporting that there is a possibility of Miley leaving Hannah Montana, which I tell you now, as much as it sucks for those of us who can't stand her, we most likely have another 2 years of Hannah.
Why? Basic Disney math which people are neglecting.
99% of the time Disney Channel shows run for 4 years. That's the way it's always been. The only show recently that has run past the 4 years is Kim Possible, because it's awesome, and the fan out cry was so overwhelming Disney decided to pick it up for one more season.
If a Disney show is successful it will run it's full 4 year term, and considering Miley can still rake in money for Disney Channel, (http://perezhilton.com/2008-07-29-shes-still-got-the-magic-touch) it's not going away any time soon, and quite frankly it would probably be the worst decision Miley could make right now.
She needs to keep her clothes on, stop talking about the Jonas Brothers, stop posting dumb videos on youtube, and for heavens sakes, STOP MAKING FUN OF SELENA!!!

Randy was diagnosed with cancer, which then spread and he was given a year to live last year. So he decided to take his perspective on life and give something called 'The Lecture of a Lifetime' or also called 'The Last Lecture'.
In this lecture he addresses how he made his dreams come true, how he helped others have their dreams come true, and how you can do the same.
His dreams include: reaching zero gravity, becoming a Disney Imagineer (<--- SUPER HARD), and becoming Captain Kirk.
He's hilarious and very insightful. Make time to watch this, I know you'll get something out of it.
My prayers and thoughts go out to his family, friends and students.

So I am at work, downing Sprite and eating chocolate reministant of Lily's "Smile" video.
I should be at the mall with my best friend who just got back from Calgary. But no. I'm working. Because Kim is a responsible person.
But you know what? I'm not feeling good. I'm loosing my voice. My back is aching. I'm exhausted, and I've been fighting a headache with extra strength IBprofen all day.
And to top it off, my day job boss is like, "I don't know how you do these 13 hour days."
Me either! But I'll tell you one thing, IT SUCKS.
Especially when I show up at work and
a) None of the other part time girls do ANYTHING
or
b) They don't even show up!
So again, I sit here, doing 3 peoples jobs. For the same amount of money I've been paid three years in a row, AND I'M STILL GETTING WALKED OVER.
I don't get it. Maybe people just assume they can get me to do anything because I'm the 'nice girl'. I'm the one who doesn't ditch work to get drunk.
I'm also a little frustrated cause I have to go see some extended family tommorow. They extended family that still thinks of Matt as 'the boyfriend' and the family to blame for my sinical wedding rant.
Again, time I should be with my best friend! BUT NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Anyway, I'm sure I'll feel better after I've blown up some people on Xtreme Jak Racing tonight. Yay...
Until then I will look at this picture.

Sounds to me like this lawsuit is just another way for Verne to get a fast pay check.

If I were you and had completely tarnished my reputation, and now had a sex tape, I would either sue the pants off of Kevin Blatt cause everything seems to be his fault now, or I would offer a joint business venture.
Verne, you could handle this without suing anyone. It would be good for your image to not go flying off the handle and start a media circus. But if you’re going to sue anyone, don’t go suing TMZ. They could have been A LOT meaner then what they were, and now all you’ve done is increase their page views by suing them. Do you have any idea how hard they are probably laughing right now?

I’m sorry for my absence, but sometimes real life has to take over cyber life.
Okay, before go back to normal posting… I just want to bring something to everyone’s attention.
Earlier this year, my best friend Allie and I lost someone very important to us. She was a good friend, and an amazing person. I want to send all my love and support out to her family and friends.
This is tough because this girl was someone who had read this blog from time to time, and I just didn’t feel right posting anything unless I talked about her.
I just want everyone to remember that every moment is a gift. And it’s up to us to choose what we do with that gift. Ellie changed a lot of people, and she will be missed forever.
We miss you Ellie.
